My little pumpkin is lactose intolerant. Can anyone recommend a good soy formula my doctor suggested soy instead of going with o-lac. I will still be breastfeeding, this is just for her milk cereal or when I am in bind. She is 4 mth now. Thanx in advance.

Congratulations on breastfeeding your little one to 4 months.
There are quite a few formulas available in Hong Kong that are suitable for Lactose intolerant babies .
With all formulas it is trial an error as to which one suits your baby best.
It is wise to buy a small tin first in case your baby doesn't like that particular brand.
If you could it would be better to have a supply of breast milk in your freezer that you could use in an emergency, or for mixing up cereal etc .
You and your baby would be most welcome to come to baby clinic and we could discuss this furthur .

you can get a lactose free milk powder in hk called O-Lac. i think it's normal milk with the lactose taken out of it. about hk$86 per tin - they are quite small tins so you can try that one if your little one is just lactose intolerant.
