Dear Moms & Dads,

I'm going to travel w/ my 1 yr old to London in Nov. We are planning to stay there for 14 days. This is my 1st trip w/ him. Don't know whether i can handle. On the plane how do u keep your child settle down? If he drink formula, how can i sterilise the bottle when i am in London? Any suggestions for me to do during 14 days trip to UK?

Pls advice. thousand thanks

hi - you prob best posting in on Moms and Dads, not under Practial - have a look there is a recent discussion on travelling with little ones. Are you staying in hotel? if serviced apps for example you can always sterilise the oldfashioned way - boil the bottle for a while. If you have a microwave - you can buy the little plastic bags in for example Bumps to Babes (or in Boots in UK) that you put your bottles in and put them in the microwave. If you are in hotel - just buy the Milton solution (either in B2B again or in Boots in UK) - just put the solution in water and put bottles in it as per instruction).

Tons of stuff to do in London, do you mean stuff for you or for your little one? At 1 yr old it is a bit tricky really - but take him to the zoo, he might like the animals. Also, the London Aquarium, that he will love for sure, most babies do!

Have fun, London is full of things to do!!
