I am running a startup business which deals with clients in HK, PRC and Macau. I have held off getting a phone plan till it became obvious as to where I would be doing most of my work but it appears that it will be all 3 although my base and office will remain in HK. I currently use a Smartone Stored value plan which works will in all areas but the roaming charges are high and it is a pain if I get caught in a long call with a client, the credit expires and I have to go and find an internet cafe to top up prior to calling back!
Anyone have a good plan that works well in all 3 places?

Well both 3 and Voda Smartone are also in Macau but what will always be expensive is calls in China. Nothing you can do about that as 99% of all calls go through China Mobile or China Unicom when roaming. China Mobile is a bit cheaper - but still plan for $5 a minute when roaming.
Better idea is to use a China sim card, just a pay as you go which will be much cheaper than using a HK plan.

Do I understand you to mean that I can buy a SIMM that gives me both a HK and China number on the one card?
The location of Sheung Wan is great as this is where my office is! Thanks for this. There are some phone shops close to the office and I will go and ask them.
