English Speaking Vet Tech

My girlfriend is a registered vet tech from the US. She is hoping to find a vet clinic in HK that would like to hire an english speaking tech. Does anyone know of any such clinics. We have been into a few and they seem to only want cantonese and english speaking employees.

Sorry to put dampers on your g/f's job hunt, but I think she will find it difficult to find a Vet who will take a Tech with just English.

The Vet Tech will also act as interpreter for the Vet if they happen to be non Cantonese speakers, probably still the majority here, but Overseas educated Cantonese speaking Vets are becoming more prevelent here.

Smaller Vet clinics also have the Techs running "Front of House" too, so in theary she would need Cantonese to talk with clients.

She might want to look at working in a Lab, that might not require her to speak Canto. Like the Jockey Club.

But to be honest I don't think there are many places here in HK as a lot of Lab work is sent overseas.
