My baby's going off her formula!

My baby's nearly one year old and going off her formula. I know there are lots more nutrients in formula milk than in cow's milk. Is it normal for her to be drinking a lot less?

Do you think I should introduce her to cow's milk?

If she is eating lots of solids then she won't need so much milk. Have you tried her on water too?

Most babies can start drinking cow's milk at one year of age unless there is a history of allergies or sensitivities in the family. So, yes, give it a try. Gradually mix the two until you have just cow's milk.

Hi Ruth,

Thanks for the reassurance. She actually drinks loads of water and baby juice diluted with water. I just feel that there would be more nutrients in the formula.

Will slowly try giving her cow's milk.
