We are throwing a bollywood party and wondered if anyone knew the best place to buy sari's and indian scarves,shoes, mens shirt's etc?

Well maybe, just maybe you'd take a look where there is a larger population of Indians! Like, wait for it.........Tsim Sha Tsui! Chungking Mansions have quite a few places and many others around in the streets if you look hard enough.

Go to Mirador mansions in Tsim Sha Tsui (has an entrance on Nathan Road) - 2nd floor, shop named Nevraj. They have fairly decent (up-to-date) sarees, kurti tops for women and men, also have the accessories like some shoes, etc.
