Classifieds searching by Location?

I am no longer able to do a search in the classifieds by location. Is there a trick to this since the new website was launched?

Working for me using IE 7. Are you selecting a location AND putting in a key word? If you are using valid search criteria, you may want to tell Ed what browser you're using, version etc.


You need a key word as it doesn't allow you to search for everything in a particular region. You can simply put in the letter e in the keyword search and you'll get all ads from that region that contain an e (should be almost all ads). Putting a * as a wildcard does not work. For anyone that tries an * and thinks it does work, look closer as all the ads it pulls up have an * in the text.


Ed, This was also commented on with your previous version of asiaexpat. Should be easy enough to program to be able to select all ads from a region or to use a keyword to narrow down your search.
