Hi. Does anyone have any frist hand experience with one of these slings? Are they worth purchasing?

Yes, it is great. I use momsinmind sling. I find it really useful as the other day i just put on my 7+ months son in it and brought him to the airport to say bye to my friend. every head turns to look at him as he was smiling all the time, he has the best view before him. Trip like this to bring stroller is just too troublesome and carrier is only two positions. But Sling can do a few more positions/styles. My son loves the kangoroo style. It is great for b/feeding too as the 'tail' can just cover our boobs. It is not hot in the summer and give warm during colder months.

I used my hot sling until recently when my son hit 20+lbs. I can't manage, especially in the heat now but i'll still use it if i'm running a quick errand. it's very easy to use. I really enjoyed the sling and my son really likes sitting facing outward. I also have the ergo and prefer this if i'm going to be out longer than 2-3hrs.

I love my hotslings as well. I have four different colour styles and they match and look really fashionable. My baby is always comfortable and they are very easy to use. I have four children and have always "worn" my babies, the hotsling has been the most user friendly of ALL the styles I have road tested.
I have also recently purchased the sun/water hotsling and that was great on our recent holiday.
I am always stopped and asked about them. They have always delivered very quickly and with no problems, although I think you can get them from Sophie in Macau at doubibou now.
