How long does it take to get from S. airport to Lo Wu border by cab? I need to get back to HK but the ferry schedule runs so infrequent so looking for another option.

I would say 45 minutes or even less as the distance is ca. 35 kms on good highways.

There is a bus that does the route to the Shenzhen City Government (although the route may have been extended farther along Shennan Lu).

I don't trust Shenzhen cabbies too much... unscrupulous is the nicest word that comes to my mind!

There is a white minibus that leaves every 15 minutes from just outside the arrivals hall. It goes straight to the bus terminal at the Lo Wu border and usually takes just under an hour depending on traffic. "Railway Station' is clearly marked on the side of the bus.
