Any other babies who get carsick?

seems my baby has motion sickness...he was whimpering and looked not well. vomited on our last car trip but was ok after...he's only 9mths, didn't know this was possible. I have motion sickness very easily so hope he didn't inherit this from me!! Just wondering if this has happend to anyone else's baby...

My son is now 27 months, but he started getting severe motion sickness when he was around 9 months old too. He dealt with the moton sickness without over the counter medication until he was 1 year old. Once he was 1 year old my doctor from New York told me it was fine to give him dramamine (only half a dose). He does just fine in cars and boats as long as I give him the dramamine. He's a bit older now and has gained weight so I give him a full dose. I hope this helps. I do sympathize. It's a terrible feeling watching your baby get motin sickness.

Thanks so much for your response! It's really awful, so far he's been ok on planes but we are going on a 15hr flight back to canada soon and i'm just so worried he's going to feel awful the whole trip. It just started recently, he was ok before...thanks for the medication tip, will check with my dr. to see if i can bring it as a back up for our trip...dont' know if he's too young right now. Glad to hear your son is doing better and able to enjoy himself! It is so terrible to watch them feel sick and not be able to do anything about it!!
