The USB ports in my computer is not working after I installed the software called "Regrun". When we scanned the computer, it asked to delete some registry files. After the deletion, all the USB ports are not working now and we cannot use the keyboard & mouse.

we are using windows XP. so do you mean the windows XP disc?


so far, i have installed and scanned, my registry using a registry fix programs.


will that solve the problem?

unplug mouse and restart the computer ,if there is a notification that a new device is found ,you can put the driver cd in the rom and follow the steps to install mouse driver and then try installing other drivers from the cd.
