recovery agent

I broke my 12 months contract plan with my mobile phone service supplier for my mobile, and for

some reasons (long story) I refuse to pay the HKD500 penalty as per the

contract.

Actually I had no idea I had to pay this penalty fee until a recovery

agent contacted me last week, and since then I'm trying to negotiate

with them but to no avail so far.

I have no intention at all to settle this amount, does anyone have any

idea what the mobile service company/the recovery agent can 'do' if I don't settle the amount

? Obviously the matter is now within the recovery agent hands, how far

can he go to obtain settlement from me ?

Advice as earlier stands SuzieW, but I think was deleted because it mentioned a company! Of course you cannot mention a company here even if it was responsible for wiping out half the world's population........


Oh and we'll hear again about expat Bob........., not exactly the same boat though is it!
