Removal of venomous snake

Hi. Last night we had a Green Bamboo Pit Viper in our garden which I actually trod on bare footed & remarkably wasn't bitten. We've captured it & would like to have it released back into a remote area rather than kill it. I was wondering if anyone has used the services of professional snake handlers before to relocate snakes. I am in New Territories. Any names & info would be great please. Thankyou.

Where in N.T. did you find the snake? We just recently moved to Clear Water Bay and have seen 2 different kinds of snakes but do not know if they were dangerous or not.

Thx for the replies. The snake's being relocated tonight far away. I believe there's 2 types of green snakes. The one we found has a red tail, red eyes & indentation (pits) on each side of head - they're venomous. Not too certain on the other green snake but they don't have a red tail. I live in Sai Kung. I think Explore Sai Kung office sell snake books which I'll be purchasing. Recently moved from Singapore & had our fair share of spitting cobras in our house. It always seemed that if we had to kill one because of the situation, more would return so I think I'm a bit superstitious now.
