Could anyone suggest the best places to take visiting parents aged about 60. They like good food and a drink, but can't see them trawling round LKF?

Any suggestions?

Check out the the hotel, Ritz Carlton, food is good there and service too.

Mind you they are closing down by end this year, due to the place will be replaced by another A-grade office building ?!

Maybe it is nothing spectacular but lunch at the Peak Lookout, follow by a little walk at the easy trail around the peak is nice too.

Tea at the Inter-Continental is nice, pick the right time to watch the sunset.

The upper deck of Jumbo , forgot the name, also nice to have alfresco meal there.

Good picks altro,

I would also add my parents favourites, tea in the Peninsula, china club/hutong/yan fu/shu hu ju, dim sum in city hall or luk yu, spices repulse bay, etc etc.

Dim sum in City Hall, Central is the best.

China Club ............. fabulous.

Tea at Peninsular ......... nice for lunch too, I prefer during the week, just to avoid the weekend crowd.

Above , I will say you get what you pay, not being too crazy when it comes to the bill. But the bubbly obviously not considered in this calculation =)

The rest, depends how well you know Chinese and Asian food. For me, they are more for a bit more for tourists, in a way.

Take them to The Water Margin in DB. Lots of restos to choose from--Cafe de Paris, Zak's, Hemingway's,.... Also nice to dine and drink by the water now that the weather is not too warm
