Hi - not sure if this should go in 'practical' or 'property' so thought I'd start here. We are likely to be moving to HK soon and my partner will be working in Cyberport. We are thinking somewhere in Mid Levels for accommodation but are concerned about the commute. Any suggestions / tips?

Thanks Marina, that's good news. As you can imagine, we're pretty excited about the move, and the forums are really helpful. When we moved from NYC to London 17 years ago there was nothing like this and although the move was pretty easy overall, being able to tap into a wealth of experience is great.

Guess we will be looking at all we can, just to have an educated choice, as it were. I'm leaning towards the midlevels but that's only because I have this fantasy of city lights, city views and being in the thick of things. But that could change once we get there and see what HK is really like. We are hoping to go out in late Nov to have a look round, which will give us a better idea. Thanks for your insight!
