Anyone know the best way to get to Lei Yue Mun from Central? (it's in east Kowloon, old fishing village with lots of fish restaurants).

If you're driving go by the eastern tunnel and it's very close to the exit on Kowloon side - watch for the sign posts just after the toll booths.


By MTR to Lam Tin then minibus / taxi.


Used to be a small ferry from Sai Wan Ho (next to the Marine Police Base) to Lei Yue Mun - not sure if it still operates.

Agree with timklip. Go to Yau Tong MTR station than u can actually walk down to the fishing village, it's not that far. If ur driving, it's even faster.

For some rel Fishing Village action check out Lau Fau Shan and the wholesale fish auctions on Fridays 8-9AM, and most any day at 06:00 to watch them wheeling up carts overflowing with of all types of seafoods it is especially interesting during low tides.
