Childrens Entertainer

Can anyone recommend a good childrens entertainer...Have a 3rd old birthday coming up and want someone to keep the kids quiet :)

In my experience, many little ones really don't like clowns and that sort of thing. They are afraid of them.


Even just a parent reading a story would be better. Give them some paper and lots of stickers to put on it. Freshly iced cupcakes or cookies and little tiny candies for them to decorate them with.


Get an adult to draw each child's outline of his/her body on a piece of paper. Then the child can draw in her face, clothes etc. Have them do their own little silly play holding their 'person'.


Give them each a pot of water and a paintbrush and let them 'paint' pictures outside.


Give them a selection of beads and strings and they can make their own necklaces. If they don't want to wear them, they can take them home for Mum.
