Hello,


I am looking for a place to purchase a large amount of screen material to make custom screen doors for my balcony... Anyone know of any place to purchase screen?

i wouldn't get the plastic netting ones (those that roll up/contract) because they'll break or tear in a year or two from fitting. I used a chinese guy to fit all mine (stainless steel with aluminum frame (frame can be in different colours)) and have been very pleased with the results. he did a lot of my windows; some sliding and some opening on hinges.


prices were considereably cheaper than those from screen shops (since he deals direct with the factory). PM me if you want his contact details but you'll need to speak cantonese.

I used this company for an awning, but they also do screens. Based in Sai Kung.
