I heard there is some kind of rest. that you can come as a group (few couples) and make your own dinner, and then you all sit toghther and enjoy the meal?

any one know what is it? how is the prices? some phone numbers and location????

Could be Magnolia, though you don't necessarily have to make your own food. I know they often run cooking classes where you get to eat your creations afterwards. It's creole food and located in Sheung Wan.

another one is Stonegrill on Elgin street in Soho. You don't have to prepare it but you decide when your food is cooked as its placed on a cooking stone in front of you. Not cheap, good atmosphere tho.

I've been to Stonegrill once and it was the most over-priced dinner I've ever had, considering all they do is put your raw meat onto hot stones and place it in front of you to sizzle away. I've sworn never to go back and after 3 years, I still haven't.
