Sorry, cannot directly answer your query, but this week's (October 19) HK Magazine's classified section has a piece on Persian Carpets on the Art & Antiques page. It has a list of a number of places which you can look into.

There's Amours Antiques on Staunton St. - v pricey though for what it is. There's another antiques shop just around the corner on Elgin St. called Riccin I think. Flea and Cents on Queens Street East may be worth a look
Also, in GOD they sometimes have some old pieces, especially glassware.

You could try Antiques Zhuhai + Beyond.
They run Antique shopping tours to Zhuhai. It is the area where Hong Kong antique dealers purchase a lot of their furniture.
They also do a modern furniture trip as well.
The prices are great, like wholesale and we all had a blast.
The quality was good and lots to choose from. Don't know about the rugs though.. wasn't looking
