Hi,
My baby is 1 year old. I cook fresh food everyday that is good for his lunch and dinner. Do you cook differently for dinner time? I'm wondering if he is getting enough variety of food.
I used to do the food cube method, but since he's starting with meat, i boil the rice, meat, vege together.

If he is not complaining, I don't see why not.
But I would vary the veggies and meat on a daily basis. Even the carbs actually, he doesn't have to eat rice everyday, can be pasta or potatoes.
I do batch cooking and freeze the food so he usually has a different dish for lunch and dinner but will eat the same dish a few times a week!

I also have a 1 year old and seem to be running out of ideas on recipes.
Honeypie & Wheelymate, can you share the recipes you cook up for your LOs?
Thanks.

I do proteins (chicken, fish, beef) for lunch and something lighter - like a pasta dish for dinner. One thing the babies seem to LOVE is pumpkin rissotto! just gobble it up, and they are fussy eaters. Also like pasta with tomato and cheese sauce. Home made chicken nuggets and fish cakes are a hit. happy to dig out recipes for any of those if anyone needs! :)
