where can i find the market with modern & contempory furniture aimed at the International Export Market in zhuhai. Can i go on my own or should i go with an organsied tour thing. The tours i know will try to get me to buy at their friend places and may not be neutral?

A friend was just talking to me about this. She goes on her own or with friends. She rings the warehouse in advance and they pick her up from the ferry terminal. I will try and get details for you.

you want to try a company called Antiques Zhuhai + Beyond. www.antiqueszhuhai.com
they have shopping tours to Zhuhai and further north. They organise a shopping trip based on what we were looking for. Lots of choices and the prices were very good. They helped to get us a good price and spoke Mandarin for us.
They do not just take you to a friends place, but many places. Even had a TV cabinet made and it turned out well.
Highly recommended.
