I'm currently working 8 hours per day and I'm considering the possible of reducing my working time to 6 hours instead of 8hours (of course , giving up part of my salary). In Europe is quite usual but not sure the possibilities of doing it in HK. Any idea? do you know average % whihc will be cut from my salary?
Tks.

It really depends on your employer and how flexible they are. My friend managed to reduce 8 working hours a week after she became pregnant for the second time. Because she hadn't had a pay rise for a year and a half, she asked for her salary to be kept the same instead of asking for a pay rise and working her normal hours. Her employer had no problems as long as her work didn't suffer and these would be the hours she will be working even after she goes back after her maternity leave.
Sorry I can't help with how much % cut to ask for.
