I am looking for a good curtain shop to make some new curtain for my house - some suggested Shenzen but I don't really fancy the travelling and the hassel of measuring all the rooms (unless it's really nice and really really really cheap) - appreciate if you have any good suggestions!

Xhrispy06, I think to get the advice you're after you'll need to be more specific about your budget (high end, or are you looking for something like IKEA - who sell fabric and make up curtains very cheaply, incidentally?) and location (Queen's Road or The Lanes, for example, or would somewhere like Sai Kung be nearer?), for example. I suggest you do a search on Practical as you'll find loads of information already posted.

You can read the other posts about Curtains in Shenzhen. I had stunning fabric and basically paid $8,000 for exactly same curtains that were quoted $33,000 in Hong Kong so it was definitely worth trip there and they delivered everything to HK within 3 days for $250.... 21 curtains.

Not IKEA - am getting curtians for my new home (approx.3000 sqfts) and looking for average to higher end stuff - nothing fancy just practical. Simple and elegant is what I am looking for. I prefer shops on HK island, Central or Wan Chai is fine.
I have bad experience with one of the shops in Wan Chai - I believed they cheated and gave me a different fabric I asked for and the curtains are still creased after hanging there for 2 years!!!!

I used a shop from Chai Wan. The man there is Frankie and speaks very good English. His contact no. is 9027 8289. Sorry do not remember the name of his shop. If you make contact he can give you the details.
