It's that time again...
I used to be able to buy very good quality charity Christmas cards from that old place near the Star Ferry in TST, but since it closed a few years ago I haven't been able to find an outlet, apart from at fairs (which I probably won't be able to get to) or later on at St John's Cathedral. I'm looking for cards like the Medici ones I used to get in the UK of reproductions of old paintings printed on top quality paper, but I could only find cartoon-y cards last year at St John's Cathedral and I have to say there wasn't a huge choice of cards - or charities.
I've contacted some charities direct (I would have liked to buy some from Orbis HK) but they're not doing cards and I fancy a change from Animals Asia cards as I seem to end up getting them most years.
Anyone have any info on where really decent cards, preferably supporting local causes if possible, are/will be on sale? Thanks!

i used to get my cards at the charity shop / handicraft shop in TST years ago too ... sad it's gone!!
now i order my xmas cards from the contact below ... plus it's a truly local and worthy cause (well, all are ... but I choose this one for the last few years) ... you could also use UNICEF too. Springboard used to do charity cards but not sure if they're still going

I know that UNICEF is a global rather than purely local charity, but we have always liked to support them by buying their cards, which come in many great designs and are of good quality. Not exactly the reproductions you are seeking, but more than just cartoons and some nice, traditional scenes among them. Check out the link below.
