sadly apart from new territories - nowhere. Our bikes have been sitting in storage for a year now! Unless you mad enough to go out on the roads around Tai Tam, Shek O, like some!

Of course, to rent bikes in New Territories is incredibly cheap- at Tai Mei Tuk reservoir outside Tai Po bikes can be rented for $10/hr, $30/day. You need to look a bit for a good quality one, but they're there and very enjoyable. Don't go on a Sunday, though- too many people come who have no idea how to bike, and it becomes frustrating/hazardous!

It's out of the way but very nice for riding is up at Tin Shui Wai venturing out along the canals and trails next to the LRT exploring villages and out to Tsim Bei Tsui and down to Nim Wan it's great

If you have young kids Kowloon Park has a great looped bike area with hills and tunnels and rents at about $18 an hour. There is a kids playground, a Chinese garden, shopping centre for food nearby and makes for a great day out.

Rent a van...goto the Tai Lam resevoir...its a nice day riding and plenty of picnic areas as well.
The vans will charge about 200- each way....and you can fit a heap of people in there....there are areas to ride, very few, but worth looking for.

For young children, try Cyberport Park. For older children and adults, no idea.

Cyberport Park is inside the Cyberport complex, near Residence Bel-air/ pokfulam. Type in cyberport hong kong on the internet and you'll find some info. The park is behind the building with the movie cinema and off to the left near the water.
