High rise window safety

Hi, we just moved into our flat in Hong Kong and are on the 17th floor - lots of our windows open and we love the fresh air, however most of the windows have window seats where my 10 month will soon be able to crawl up - does anyone have any suggestions how to baby proof the windows? Thanks!

Hi

Sorry, I tried to look for it as well. I can't remember what the title was but the suggestions were good. Apparently you can sometimes get the landlord to put small locks on available at hardware stores. Some people suggested a small bracket that only allows the window to open afew inches and others suggest the landlord installs grates on the outside that cover the whole window. Hopefully people will respond again and tell you exactly where to get these things. It seems that you can talk to your landlord. Hope you get a solution.
