Does anyone know where I would be able to find jobs in the marketing/advertising industry (preferably in luxury brands) that DO NOT require you to read/write in chinese? -- and only use english?

Do you have a Hong Kong ID card? You can't go anywhere/do anything on the job market before you have that.


Check out the job web sites and the newspapers for positionings, the Luxury brands will no doubt advertise in the SCMP.

Thanks Alibullock, I do have an ID card (and a working visa from my current job) I have checked the newspapers and sites - and majority require reading/writing in chinese. I'm having a tough time finding a job that only requires using english. Thanks for ur advice~*

Bear with it - More high level companies will look for your skill set. Possibly consider some charity work if you have any free time, that will open up some opportunities.

Definately send out your CV's to agencies.

I have also been looking recently and all jobs in the papers seem to require Chinese. However, just by talking to people I have heard of so many more opportunities that you only need english for.

Try looking on here and jobsdb for list of good agencies :o)
