Does anyone know if freelancing / contract work is common in HK?
I have a background in media account management and event management from the UK and we used to employ a lot of these types of workers. I am keen to do a similar role in HK but am unsure if this is commonplace?
If so, where is the best place to look for jobs? All jobs in the newspapers seem to be permanent.
Also, what is a common rate range for this type of work?
Many thanks for your help!

First thing: Do you have a HK ID card with a right to work? You won't find anything without that. There are temporary contracts out there, try jobsdb.com

Yes I have all of that already so no worries there.
I will try jobsdb again but I didn't find it that useful last time when I was looking for temprary jobs.
Does anyone know about common rates for freelancers? Obviously it depends on the job and experience but what is the most common price range?
Thanks!
