I am planning on going back to work in January and would ideally like to hire a qualified nanny to look after my baby. This is very common in France where I had my first child, where from 3 months old we shared a nanny with another couple in the neighbourhood and to look after both babies. One week both babies would be 8-6 at our apartment, the next week at theirs. Not only did it split costs, but also it was great for both babies too.
I have a helper, but I would prefer a properly trained nanny with good experience and possibly even native English via an agency such as Rent A Mum.
Does anyone know if this is available in Hong Kong or anyone in a similar position is interested, please let me know.
I am based on the South Side.

Hi Miyazaki,
Have you found a nanny? I have sent you a PM, please check.

You may be able to find someone who doesn't need a visa, of course. If so, then you can easily share.
Even if they do need a visa, as long as one person is the sponsor, sharing should be no problem, it is only the DH visa that has the restrictions on having only one fixed workplace.

You can share a nanny, which means both employers have to sponsor her. I had a job in the mornings for one family and another one in the afternoons for a different one. It's pretty straight forward regarding the visa. Where it gets complicated is during the holidays, if one child gets sick, split costs of insurance etc... Both employers have to really think about that kind of situations. salaries are between 30 and 40K/month for a full time position. Good luck!

My last nanny cost me $20,000/month.
