Ear Piercing

I've already done a search before anyone jumps down by throat!

I'd like to know where i can get childrens ears pierced other than Isabella.

The Hairdressers oN wyndham street. They have a whole section for piercings, my daughter had a belly button done there and had no problems. I have my hair done at Talas and like the place, but I had my ears done there a couple of years ago, and ended up in agony and on 10 days of antibotics. But maybe I was just unlucky

Now that's not what i want for my 7.5 year old. Darren did my belly at The Hairdressers and he seems to know what's he's doing so may try there.

Anywhere else?

For basic ear piercing you can even try Issabella. I think they have something in the Central MTR.

Thanks D-Man but have had a nasty experience with Isabella hence my request for recommendations other than them.


They pierced my other daughters ears and they pierced each ear at the same time (great thinking i thought).


Nah, ah. One of the guns got stuck so she was left with this gun hanging from her ear, i kid you not. Then the earring wasn't fastened properly at the back so it fell out and she was violently ill as a result. Trying to get the other earring out was the worst experience of my life, i never honestly thought a child could be so loud through fear.


So i would like to learn from this expereince and go to someone whom will do a good job!

Sorry I don't have a place to offer you as I was looking for one myself for my 6 year old until she became traumatized and now does not want to pierce her ear. Which is fine as it is her decision to begin with. I am telling you this just in case anyone recommends these "Professional Ears Piercers" to you.


I told my daughter when she turned 6 she could decide whether or not she wanted her ears pierced. She was so excited about it so on the day we took her she was ready to go. Upon arriving at this place, my duaghter picks out her earing but the lady told her she had thick ear lobes and cannot choose the pink stone she wanted and can only choose the silver or gold one because they had a longer needle. (I should've known then to hold off). So my daughter picked one from one of the 3 choices she was given and sat in the chair ready to get her ears pierce, all the passer byers decided they wanted to watch and stood at the window which made her even more nervous than she already was. The lady marked my daughters ears and proceeds to ask me if I think they were even. Again I should've known, she was the "Professional" not me so I told her she should know better than me. Anyway she proceeded to put the earing in the gun (keep in mind my daughter just turned 6) went to do one of my daughters ears but could not press the gun hard enough to get the earing through the lobe (my daughter has already felt the prick at this point) the lady then proceed to remove the gun from my duaghters ear, needle of the earing is scraping along her lobe as she was pulling it drops the gun which hits my daughter on the bridge of her nose (my duaghter is crying at this point), the lady says sorry and tries to calm her and asks her to sit back on the chair. (I'm thinking "Are you kidding me?") Needless to say, I took my daughter right out of that store, told them how "unprofessional they are" and will not go there ever again not even to buy earings. Profesionals, they are not. The are located in the Queensway building. I know I am not to mention their name as it is not allowed as Ed will delete it but please do not take your child to the place in Queensway. The are the only earing, ear piercing place specialist there.

qvong - Just near Tie Rack per chance, sounds like exactly the same place my daughter had the misfortune to have hers done.
