As above.
Not worked in HK before, would like to find out what is the usual package for expats on relocation .
Might be going into global company as Senior manager level only.
thanks

I have to disagree with your comment that HK standards are not that great. Although I have comprehensive medical insurance, I also use the public hospital system and apart from the long waiting list it has served me well. I, and many people I know here, have received top care from excellent doctors, certainly at least as good as my experiences of the UK National Health. Oh, and another plus is there's less chance of contracting hospital superbugs here.

thanks guys
i have not got the job yet but last round already
they asking for my expectation for relocation package
so not having dne this before, thot i would seek the wisdom of everyone here
did not that that housing would be taxable! meaning on top of rent I would be paying tax on top of that? wow!
I have no kids, so just myself, was thinking of midlands, but understand that is very expensive! now have to contend with rent plus leaving aside a sum for tax too! sigh....

Thanks Saikunga and rest
another silly question , what would I be expecting to be pay in terms of income tax?
i mean now with housing/rental tax + personal income tax
i am guessing it'll be quite a lot
