Stocking fillers for toddler

With my 2nd pregnancy weighing me down and the wet weather that often ruins shopping plans, I am trying to get all my shopping for X'mas done asap.

What are good ideas for stocking fillers for a toddler? My son is 20 months old now, last year he didn't get a X'mas stocking but he's such a little boy now we don't want to leave him out but we don't want to fill his entire stocking with chocolates like my hubby likes his!

My 2 year old's current favorite toy is a flashlight. hours of fun.

yes. Me son loves a flashlight right now too. He's a big older and I hit some plastic bugs in a dark room and told him to go on a bug hunt.


Cara- It made me laugh becuase I am from Canada as well and we also got a Mandarin orange in our stocking.


We also always got a small mesh bag of gold coin chocolates. That is a tradition I still have with my husband's stocking and my sons. I think starting some traditions like that are nice for the kids and you as well.
