Like Saikunga said, it is probably not cost effective. Back in Europe, one will find bottle bank collection points all over the place.
I have come across one bottle bin on Hong Kong island - at the Repulse Bay car park entrance - as soon as you enter on the right (before going through the car park entrance) - it is the large black bin. I dump empty wine, beer, glass mineral water bottles and the like over there.
