Where to buy Vitamins apart from Watsons, Mannings

Pharmaceuticals in the US are the most expensive in the world - big pharma makes sure of that and the public has only a little voice in comparison. And this is why US citizens travel to Canada and Mexico to buy their medicines - and why they are obviously cheaper in HK.

Hefty rent is only a part of the expensive of vitamins in HK. Many are imported - importation costs money naturally because of the transportation costs. Also economy of scale comes into play. Most people here don't regularly take vitamins... unless their doctors "prescribe" them along with bags and bags of pills and bottles of cough syrup.

There are a number of health food shops that sell vitamins, e.g. Nature's Village. Non-chain pharmacies also sell them, for example Fanda carries some of the Jarrow line and also has some generic ones.

But then again, so many online stores deliver to HK without any difficult that it's a possible alternative. Some people use US ones, others Australian ones. Perhaps the Oz ones are not as popular with the exchange rate being what it is.

Finally, ask some "back home" to send them to you.
