How many times did you feed your little one in his/her first wk? Did you breast feed? If yes, did breast feeding hurt?

6:30 am - BreastFeed
7:30 am - approx 150 ml solids - papaya/mango, breast milk, Organic Earths Best oatmeal (or mixed grain) and yogurt - all mixed together
8:15-10:00 Nap
10:00 - BreastFeed - very short, only if she wants
11:00 - approx 150 ml solids - green vegetable with an organge vegetable, breast milk, Earths Best rice, barley or mixed grain and yogurt - all mixed together
12:00 - 2:00 - Nap (sometimes she wakes earlier)
2:00 - Breast Feed
3:00 - 4:00 - Nap
4:00 - Breast Feed
5:00 - 150 ml of solids - more vegetables, grains, yogurt soon will add tofu or egg yolk (M-W-F)
6:30 - Breast Feed
6:45 - Bed
She always eats all her breakfast, but does not always eat both of her second meals, sometimes all, sometimes only about 100ml.
I am starting to introduce snacks to her too, but slowly.
To Purefit - regarding breast feeding, it does not hurt if done correctly a midwife, la leche league or a lactation consultant can help you. The first few weeks you feed A LOT, but it gets less and less over time. Also in the beginning it is 'more work' in the sense that neither you nor the baby know how, but later it gets so easy, at about 6 months (or earlier!) you just lay in bed and the baby does all the work :)

Agree that every baby is different.
My first baby (now 23 months!!!), didn't eat texture or finger food until about 11 months, but my 8 months olf already has some and loves it...
Yogurt
Whole Fat, no sugar
Don't buy the 'baby yogurt' it is a marketing scam and often has sugar!
In HK we bought Horizon (The one with the cow on it), St Pauls, and a greek yogurt and another brand I can't remember... just be sure it is full fat and NO SUGAR.
We would buy the larger tubs, and when we went out just scoop some into a small container.
Yogurt is the best, it is sooo easy, and my 23 month old still has yogurt every day.
If you have a yogurt maker, just be sure to use whole fat milk and no sugar. Great if you make your own - cool!
