I used to live in Hong Kong but I am now expat in Scotland!!
Loving my life in Glasgow, my home now!
I'm here to ask expat in HK, particularly British, do you think the idea of creating my website and share my recipes with others in Britian is a good idea? I discovered that there are very few authentic chinese recipes written in English as most are adapted to the British taste.
I'm originally from Hong Kong so I cook both British and Chinese Dish though i have to say I am not an expert in British dishes.
Have to say we have the quality of Beef in Scotland is superb, in fact, Great Britain has good quality meat really.

Hi VL,
I think your food looks great!
However, I think you'll find most British people like "Chinese food" adapted to British tastes rather than the authentic article.
Good luck.

Hi VL,
I think it would be a great idea! I have just moved to China and find the food wonderfull. I wish the European-Chinese restaurants would serve this instead of the "adapted" versions! So yes, I am sure certain people would love to cook real Chinese food. What I would also like : to have recipes BOTH in English and Mandarin. That way I could share them with my Ayi and know what is in them... What do you think.
