Incense Holder for Spiral Incense

Where am I able to purchase an incense holder to burn spiral incense? Need something to hold inside end of spiral so it cones/fans out to burn? Thinking I require a "T-type" stand? Where do I find this?

out of curiosity.... i went to five wet markets. 3 in taipo... plover cove, tai po complex and the tourist-attraction old-market and sha tin and tai wo. i did not find the incence stand. i went to chinese temples and saw them all hang by hooks from the ceiling. Man Mo temple in tai po and the big tree..

Pady2k... exactly. It's not that easy to find the incense stand for spiral incense. It was a mistake to buy the incense. The temple I was at that day was not selling the stands... but I figured how difficult can it be to find the stand. Well... very difficult. The incense spirals I purchased are 5 cm in diameter... somewhat small. I am going shopping this weekend and will try again. Thanks for looking.

oh ho !! did you buy the one that looks like mosquito coil?? i assume so because of the 5cm size. in all the household stores, you will find a flat rin box with a t stand stuck to the bottom and a flower cut out on the lid (to let the smoke escape). this tin should serve your purpose. it costs just one dollar.


I thought you had bought the moster coils which are 18 to 20inches dia and are about 18inches high when hung in a cone !!

nopes japan home centre and price rite dont carry this. you should go to chinese house hold ware stores.
