I need to send some jewellery to Australia a.s.a.p, but the courier companies I've contacted (UPS, FedEx, DHL) won't accept items over US$500 in value.
I've tried SpeedPost, but they don't insure jewellery.
I only want to send the item if its insured, so would appreciate advice on courier companies that carry jewellery, or on other ways to get it there (short of flying it to Aust myself).
I'm thinking that I might need to purchase insurance through a third party, so would also appreciate advice on insurance companies who'll do this.

For future readers of this thread... I've just discovered that TNT will carry it. Unfortunately, it won't make it by Christmas, but I'll know for next time.
