Electonic repairs

I don't know if Mr Yung Shing Wai (Tel. 2890 7821) is still going, but you might want to try him. He spoke good English and visited our home three or so years ago to repair a television set, charging a very reasonable rate. He also used to repair DVD players, music systems, video players etc. From my failing memory, I think he was based somewhere in Kowloon.


I presume it's out of warranty? Apart from the labour charge, any repairer might have to purchase a part(s) from Yamaha, and bear in mind that these days many manufacturers charge so much for parts that consumers are forced to discard their 'obsolete' units and buy new ones, even if it's just a very small part that has gone wrong. Still, it's worth a try.
