Why further split down and re-classify this site?
I see in the Shanghai section, the Practical forum has gone. And has been replaced by 4 fora.
Shanghai Property
Shnghai Play Schools
Shanghai Restaurtants
Living in Shanghai
It cannot be because of volume of traffic. There is very little traffic on this forum as it is. Much less than two years ago.
Most pages go back days or weeks even, after the first few lines.
It doesn't make things easier for the user it makes it harder. For example, where should I put that miscelaneous enquiry?
Maybe now I can ignore a wider range of 'targeted' adverts
It is no wonder fewer people visit and post than before.

There are two instant improvements you can make.
1/ In the domestic help there is a field 'years in HK' this also applies for those looking for work in Shanghai.
2/ In the property section, all appartments advertize size in the field labeled as square feet. I don't know about HK but in Mainland China appartments are measured in square meters. So I see adverts ofr appartments of 85 sqft. This causes incorrect adverts. As 85sqft is about 8sqm.
The fields labels should be changed to make them usable.
