A very good friend of mine is leaving HK and she would like us to go out for dinner dressed in c*cktail dresses and men perhaps in their dinner suits. Aqua has been mentioned mainly for the view but we want to be able to enjoy a few bottles of wine without bankrupting ourselves. What about TOTTs now its been revamped or California in JW, or Opia? Can anyone help me out on this one with any suggestions?

the suggestions made are all very good, Opia has fine,creative food, and a very nice elegant atmosphere. Or you could try some of the ''private'' kitchens. One in CWB, French cuisine, and separate ''areas' very nice decorations, and private, the food is well prepared, and cost for set menu around HK$450 per person, and you can bring your own wines/champage etc.
