Dear all, I work in Hong Kong now and my employer will transfer me to China to work and will give me a formal invitation however I have been informed that due to new laws being passed from 1st Jan, all new work visa entrants for Z visa must have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent. I only have diploma plus 6 years in my field... ! I need help!! Any advice on overcoming this matter would be appreciated.!!

Get your boss to give you a supporting letter, you will not have a problem if your boss really values you! But please, no lies! (Based in Hong Kong too)

A degree is required depending on what your job function is. If you are a teacher, a degree is essential.
Not all provinces enforce the degree requirement equally.

Gather all the necessary paperwork & review with your HR so that they are prepared to address this, if necessary. If MNC, they will be able to get the visa for you as they can justify that your experience is needed.
