Kindergarten and primary schools near Olympian City

ESF have a kindergarten at Tsing Yi which is 3 stations away from Olympic station via MTR

There is a PIPS international kindergarten recently opened at Kowloon Station (one MTR stop away) ... otherwise I would strongly recommend the YMCA International Kindergarten on Salisbury road in Tsimshatsui.

I think the primary school for this catchment area is Beacon Hill School

THe ESF Primary School for that area is Beacon Hill however you do not automatically transfer to that school just becuase you have been to an ESF Kindergarten, a lot of people make this wrong assumption.


Additionally, Beacon Hill School is now a superb PYP IB candidate school and, my advise is to look for a kindergarten that has this same way of teaching so your child has a very smooth transistion.


For your location, the nearest one is PIPS at Kowloon Station. This kindy is implementing the early years form of PYP and it is a very much based inquiry form of learning rather than a 'you must learn this becuase the curriculum says so'. From experience children enjoy PYP more as it gets them more involved. PIPS is a new school and has had teething problems but i believe it's all ironed out now and becoming very popular, some classese even have waiting lists for next year.
