ORIGINAL POST

I recieved some sourdoug starter from the states. Im reading the process (its a lifesyle!) keeping this thing alive forever seems to be what is done. Anyone have any experiese with this. Is it too involved to do if you not a full time baker? Can it be frozen of forgotten for a time?

Thx

I have not done it myself but from hearing acquaintances talk about it I don't think you need to be a full time baker. Just requires some patience and time.

BTW it's smelled "dough". I though you were talking about some guy named Doug who was in a bad mood in the mornings. ;)
