Hi..I have a 7 month old boy. He's very active now and also turn to his tummy whenever possible. So I have to use pull up pants. My problem is at night. I've used huggies, but has leakage during night. I now m using mamypoko, but it feels sooo FULL after half the night until my bub wakes up! I heard pull up pants are more ideal for day and night. Is it true? Is there any pull up pants I can use for night?

Huggies "Overnites" (not normal Huggies) if you can find them are the gold standard for night time. They can easily hold 12 hours of pee. Don't know where to get them in HK but perhaps Gateway stocks them.
They're not pull-ups but I must confess I don't see the problem there. My older daughter is over 2 and she has never used pull-ups at night.

Hi..my 9 mth old has been using Pampers M size ( 6-11kg) from the time she was 6 mth old...I realised that since the size is slightly bigger ( she was closer to 6 Kg that time) I never had a prob in the nite...No leakages till now

i have a 22 month old who is L sized but really needs an XL to hold in all his pee from 7pm-7am.
we use only pampers premium or mamy poko - sometimes there are still leakages so started using reusable waterproof nappy cover (bambino mio) so that the leakages don't affect his grobag and cot sheet, waking him up in the process.
will be toilet training him when he hits 2 so hopefully this problem will go away soon....

Not to burst your bubble but typically the first toilet training only works for daytime. It usually takes another year at least until there are no more night time "accident". Our daughter toilet trained at 24 months but still wears a diaper at night. About 1 night in 5 the diaper is wet but I don't think she notices peeing at night so it's not something she has control over.
I am dubious about the "Potty Training Kit." Or at least I think you can do all that without spending 300 Honkies. ;)
As for potty training before 2, some kids are ready and some are not. Forcing the issue can lead to a lot of frustration on both sides. We tried with our daughter at 22 months and it was no go. Just didn't get it. But at 24 months it took just 3-4 days to train her fully. She was ready.

""I am dubious about the "Potty Training Kit." " - You are certainly entitled to your opinion. Just to add, though, that the Potty Training Kit has been beta tested in the US and all RAVED about how easy (and fun) it made potty training. A sample testimonial:"
Whatever works for you I guess. We had the patented grandma method. ;) I have no doubt that the Universe will take revenge with our younger daughter. :)

My daughter has been "poo" trained since 25 months. She will hold it until a toilet is found. She is now 2.5 yrs old and is daytime pee trained, but has a very occasional accident when there is too much excitement going on. She only wears diapers (Pampers Pull ups) at night time. Daytime naps, she wears panties.
All children are so different. It really amazes me when children are potty trained at 1 yrs old. It is generally known that babies cannot control their bladder until 2 yrs of age.

My daughter too uses cloth nappies at night as well as during the day.
She uses Tots Bots and Easy Peasy Nappies. At night I boost them with an extra prefold which really helps by adding extra absorbancy so that she is fine until the morning.

i tried huggies, pampers, and japanese brands but find PETPET the best choice (and cheap!!) . the only thing is that not many places carries them. JUSCO is one of them.
