My 11 mth has suddenly stopped wanting to drink his milk. He used to take 20-22 oz a day and now he's down to 9-12 oz. He just gets bored and wiggles hiw way out. We've tried distraction with toys, phone, etc, but doesn't work.
His appetite is good as he eats his solids without any problems. In fact, his tea time which used to be a 9 oz bottle has become 2 oz + pot of yogurt. Should I worry that he's taking so little formula considering the daily recommended norm to be 18 oz?

This sort of thing happens. Kids go through phases when they are not that hungry, then back to feeding frenzy.
I would say that:
- The yogurt counts towards dairy.
- Appetite will probably return within a few days.
- Kids that age "know a lot about nutrition". If his body needs more dairy, he'll eventually eat it.
- There's no huge worry about being below the recommended norm for a few days. You don't have to hit the target every single day.
- Maybe your kids just isn't that hungry right now and milk is the one thing he chooses to give up. Perhaps decrease some other portion?
- If you are really worried, call your doctor.
You can try substituting some cow's milk for the formula. At 11 months plenty of kids are already weaned.
