wow, stationary stores and hardware stores?! the one i am looking for comes in a leather bound case and is 21" x 26" when open. i should have been more specific.

Did this exact search myself a couple of years ago and gave up in HK. Those I saw here were either cheap cardboard or ridiculously expensive (like HKD$15,000 for a roll-up leather version at dunhill) Finally bought one in London. If you don't mind paying an outrageous amount, you can sometimes find nice leather sets at Lane Crawford in their jewelry box section.
