Snorkeling in Asia

Hi any ideas of the best places for snorkeling in Asia. Looking for places that are easy to get too (not Maldives please) with excellent 5 star hotels and few kids. We love to snorkel and would like to go more often hence the easy to get too part.

We LOVED Koh Tao, near Koh Samui. It's amazing. There were some divers that I met who had said that it was the best for them as well. However, diving seemed senseless because the water is so clear that the snorkelers are looking at the divers on the ocean floor.
