Hi, need to find out for a friend please: She needs to be in Macau for a 10:30am meeting. How much time should she factor in for the:
(1) immigration control leaving HK?
(2) immigration control entering Macau?
She does not hold a HK or Macau passport.

I would preface that I have never done this trip, but I have never heard of any time issues with immigration/emigration. Judging from the airport experience, it's going to be pretty quick.

Ferry is about an hour. Immigration check can be as short as 5 minutes, or as long as 45 minutes, depending on which day and what time you enter. I was there last month and I spent about 45 minutes, that was Saturday afternoon. I reckon if she'll go there this CNY, she'll have to allot at least an hour, just to be safe.
